iPhone3G-t
Update (July 15): Now that I’ve got my hands on both a Black and a White, a number of minor updates have been made to the review. Also, a new “Addendum” section has been added, which includes new sets of pictures taken of the two colours side-by-side, plus some of the new iPhone 3G Dock.
The phone that everyone’s been waiting for - is finally here.

Apple’s 3G version of their iPhone product brings not just fast data, but also a broader feature set targeted towards enterprise-based users. With the new Version 2.0 of the iPhone firmware, which brings native Exchange server support, as well as the use of third-party applications (not web apps), it makes this supposedly-consumer-orientated device so much more interesting to the business user - who, by the way, are also every-day consumers!

July 11 will probably be a bigger day than June 29 last year, when the now-classic first-generation iPhone was released in the US. Although the iPhone 3G launch will be over several different countries / markets, Apple has managed to build the momentum (or anticipation) needed to create a craze never seen before, for a mobile phone product release of any calibre.

My take on the iPhone 3G (aka, the review) should answer those questions that are still left unanswered.

Mobique is currently undergoing a site migration.

But because of the iPhone 3G’s launch, we’ve decided to push forward the launch date of the new site to accommodate the review, which I believe many people would be keen to take a good look at...

We will be re-populating the site with both new and existing content in the coming days and weeks. If you have any comments or suggestions for us, please don’t hesitate to email us at ideas at mobique dot com - as we would be more than happy to hear from our readers!
